Currently Berlin, New Britain, and Southington Fire Departments are operating a structure fire at 863 Shuttle Meadow Avenue.

The first arriving units found a home fully involved. The house was set back from the road making access difficult.

The owners were outside on arrival, no pets were inside, and no other immediate hazards were present.

Tanker shuttles were utilized to supply water and the bulk of the fire is now under control.
The area around the New Britain water department remains active as overhaul is underway and all are encouraged to use alternate routes around.
