..America remembers the contribution of American Workers and the Labor Unions that have fought for the safety of the American worker- as example in photos below- the International Ladies Garment Workers Union bringing about workplace safety and eliminating child labor as a result of the 1911 Triangle Shirtwaist Fire killing 146 young women; The ongoing fight of the United Mine Workers of America for mine safety and reducing the tragic loss of life in the mining industry; and the continued work of the International Association of Fire Fighters {IAFF-AFL-CIO} partnering with Fire Service Organizations and Legislative bodies to reverse the tragedy of "line of duty deaths" and prevention of occupational illness!
