The initial attack crew found heavy smoke conditions on the first and second floors and active fire on the first floor and basement levels. The fire has been was extinguished and crews are in the process of clearing. The family will be displaced, but the home is not a total loss, unfortunately a pet was lost in the fire. One firefigter on was treated for minor injuries and released on scene. Traffic was effected for a short time on Circlewood Drive .

Berlin's Fire Marshal is investigating and a cause is not immediately available. |
